Arsenal match

Well what can i say.... not much so i wont :p

I left home at 5.50pm Tuesday for the start of my magical journey to the Emirates Stadium to watch Arsenal vs Hull Shitty. The tube was a fkn nightmare, people were litterally jammed in so much that they had to duck their heads into the train so the doors could close. Eventually got to the Arsenal stop (yes, there's a tube stop that is named after Arsenal Football Club - the only station in London to be named after a football team), got out and started walking to the stadium. There was electricity in the air and such a great buzz. Walked around to the other side of the stadium and collected my tickets. When i got to my seat the players were out warming up just 50m away from me. Seat was cushioned and i was amongst season ticekt holders who all knew each other lol. When the players came back out of the tunnel to start the match i video taped them, and then unfortunalety my bloody battery in the phone died so i couldnt take any more photos!! The game was terrific, even though Hull scored. Was played at stunning pace and Arsenal were unlucky to go into half time 1 nil down. Second half Arsenal were killing them and eventually we scored and i screamed and yelled so much was crazy!! 10 minutes later we scored the winner and that was it, my voice was pretty much gone! :-) was an absolutely fantastic experience! i couldn't believe how much better the players look in real life compared to TV, simply amazing! I was sitting behind the Hull city bench and saw/heard their assistant manager yelling at Arsene Wenger to F off! haha pig!.... Being there is what dreams are made of!

Wednesday i spent, you guessed it, looking for jobs. Went to get breakfast and forgot pay haha.. this hot russian chick didnt say anything when i left so it didnt click until a few hours later so i went back and paid :-)... After looking at jobs i got bored of that so took a step closer to washing my clothes and sorted the colours from the whites. I've been meaning to wash for about a week but just cant bring myself to do it! Sooo what do you do when you haven't got many clothes to wear, go out and buy new ones of course :-) so i went out to this cheap sports store and bought a lonsdale tracksuit for $30 and some new Adidas shoes for $100 - this place is wicked! sooo cheap! When i got home the cleaner was here and she had just finished vacuuming (or hoovering as trellness likes to say - whateverrr) when trellness said she hadnt finished and to vacuum something else. Was so funny coz this lady is Hungarian and can't speak much english but after trellness told her she hadnt done a good enough job she dropped the F bomb and mumble something in her native tongue hahaha... Later on i was cooking a stir fry and trellness came in for a chat... She was telling me how she needed money to fix things around the house and was suggesting jolyon hadn't paid her the rent on purpose, "do you understand?". "it's not your fault that i dont have the finances to fix things here, do you understand?" - you see she had these arab guys living here for a few months without paying her and she ran out of cash. Because i didnt have all that much cash on me when i got here (900 pounds or about $2200 lol which is f all here) she's letting me pay the deposit when i get a job. For all her shortcomings she'd been quite good in that sense luckily!! Anyway continuing "i'll let you cook, do, do hahaha" (she sometimes shortens do you understand to do, do then laughs). But did she let me cook???? Nooooo: "I'm playing catch up charlie because i dont have the finances, do you understand? Do you know what catch up charlie is?" Dimitri "yes i do actually. (whispers) trell"... Trellness: "Once i get some more money in i can fix your fire escape, do, do, do hahaha." Dimitri: "I'm not too fussed about the fire escape because if there's a fire i'll get out of here anyway i can, do you understand (threw that one in for her lol). Tellness: "haha yes. bla bla bla" i stopped listening at this point and she stumbbled back to the kennel/lounge room. Ate dinner then watched a movie and that was wednesday.

I've already bought another ticket to a match, will be watching Arsenal v Man Citeh.. how exciting! :-)
